General Admission Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor degree preferably in Health Science awarded by a local university, or an overseas university of acceptable standing;

  • Proficiency in Cantonese is preferable.

English Language Proficiency Requirements

  • Obtained a degree from a university in which English is the medium of instruction of degree programmes; or

  • Equivalent qualifications.

Note: Some courses may have additional entry requirement.


1.    Application

Please submit the online application form and upload the supporting documents HERE. An application fee of HK$100 (A crossed cheque or bank draft) should be sent to our mailing address. Applications will be processed only upon receipt of the completed application form, copies of supporting documents and application fee, which are submitted 3 weeks before the course commencement.

2.    Copies of Supporting Documents to be Submitted

  • Hong Kong identity card

  • Certificates of academic / professional qualifications
    (E.g. University certificates of graduation, examination certificates, proof of other qualifications)

  • Transcript
    (E.g. Official transcripts and grading schemes of all tertiary level studies)

3.    Selection Process

Applicants will be notified of the application result by e-mail when the Programme concerned has made its decision. Please contact programme team by phone at 2252 8795 or by email to if you do not receive notification 2 weeks before the course commencement.

4.    Tuition Fee Payment

Applicants who are accepted will be required to pay the full tuition fee of HK$14,400 for each course in a crossed cheque or bank draft within 5 working days upon receipt of notification. We will not guarantee the seats if the successful applicants fail to complete the payment before deadline.

5.    Payment Method

Crossed cheque or bank draft should be made payable to: “The Chinese University of Hong Kong” and sent to our mailing address. Post-dated cheque will not be accepted. Please write the applicant's name, HKID card no. and course title on the back of each cheque/bank draft. Please note that the application fees and tuition fees, once paid, are non-refundable or non-transferable.

6.    Programme Changes

The programme reserves the right to cancel the course if the number of registered students is insufficient or for other unanticipated reasons, as well as to make alterations regarding instructors, class schedules, class locations and the course contents if necessary.
