SHORT COURSE IN OCCUPATIONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL MEDICINE | HEALTH PRACTICE | HYGIENE - ADMISSION 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

General Admission Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor degree preferably in Health Science awarded by a local university, or an overseas university of acceptable standing;

  • Proficiency in Cantonese is preferable.

English Language Proficiency Requirements

  • Obtained a degree from a university in which English is the medium of instruction of degree programmes; or

  • Equivalent qualifications.

Note: Some courses may have additional entry requirement.

HOW TO APPLY

Please submit the application form and supporting documents (in pdf format) through online platform. An application fee of HK$100 (non-refundable and non-transferable) in a crossed cheque or bank draft should be sent to our mailing address. Applications will be processed only upon receipt of the completed application form, copies of supporting documents and application fee 3 weeks before the course commencement.

  • A photocopy of Hong Kong Identity Card

  • Copies of certificates in support of academic / professional achievements, such as

    • university graduation certificate(s)

    • result slip(s) of examination(s)

    • proof of other qualification(s)

  • Copies of academic transcripts, such as

    • university transcript(s) and grading schemes

    • postgraduate transcript(s) and grading schemes

SELECTION PROCESS

Applicants will be notified of the application result by e-mail when the Programme concerned has made its decision. If you do not receive notification 2 weeks before the course commencement, please contact the programme team by phone at 2252 8795 or by email to dip.oemhp@cuhk.edu.hk.

TUITION FEE

Applicants who are accepted will be required to pay the full tuition fee of HK$14,400 for each course (non-refundable and non-transferable) in a crossed cheque or bank draft within 5 working days upon receipt of notification. We will not guarantee the seats if the successful applicants fail to complete the payment before deadline.

PAYMENT METHOD

Crossed cheque or bank draft should be made payable to: “The Chinese University of Hong Kong” and sent to our mailing address. Post-dated cheque will not be accepted. Please write the applicant's name, HKID card no. and programme title on the back of each cheque/bank draft. Please note that the application fees and tuition fees, once paid, are non-refundable or non-transferable.
